The Planning Commission voted to recommend that
City Council approve Rebecca Jackson's interim use permit for an
accessory apartment at 15720 Kangaroo Street N.W. declaring
terms of same, as amended. Forward to City Council. Council
tabled until there is an ordinance in place.

The Planning Commission voted to recommend that the developer
proceed to apply for preliminary plat approval of Willow Ridge,
based upon discussion and City Staff review letter dated July 27,
1994.

A Kentucky case was noted in the Zoning Bulletin wherein it was
decided that city council is required to wait until receipt of the
commission's minutes are approved and made part of the public
record before it can make any decision concerning adoption of a
recommended ordinance. Please review for an,_.' application to
Ramsey's current adoption process. To carry this a step further, is
it appropriate or legally sound for City Council to take action on a
application for a conditional use permit, for example, without
benefit of approved Planning Commission public hearing minutes
being provided in their case back-up mater/als? tf not, then not
forwarding a case to the Council before we have approved Planning
Commission minutes could add .another 4-6 minimum weeks of
processing time to the case.

The Planning Commission requested that members of the Park and
Recreation Commission present their most current Parks and Trail
Plan to the Planning Commission at either their regular meeting in
September or October.

The Planning and Economic Development Commissions tabled the
case entitled "Review Alternatives for Land Use and Transportation
Updates to Comprehensive Plan" until EDC has an opportunity to
review information from the City of Dayton and other data the
Planning Commission used in its decision making process.

Council approved the preliminary plat approval of Chestnut Ridge
2nd Addition dated August 11, 1994, contingent upon the
developer compliance with Staff review letter and the
recommendations of the Park Commission on supplying a phasing
plan. You offered to work with Mr. Peterson and Mr. Passe with
regard to the park dedication and the concern about Sunwood
Drive.
