The Planning Commission would like to review and <br />approve this before sending it on to City Council. <br /> <br />The Planning Commission directed vou to research the possibility <br />of putting a time limit on appeals of variances granted by the Cit.,,'. <br /> <br />Research as to why Cable TV did not tape the 11/1/94 Planning <br />Commission meeting. <br /> <br />Per Commissioner Deemer's direction, amend the Planning <br />Commission/Economic Development Commission meeting minutes <br />of September 15, 1994, Case #1: Review Alternatives for Land Use <br />and Transportation Updates to Comprehensive Plan, as follows: <br />The third paragraph on page 3 of 7 should read "Commissioner <br />Deemer advised that the City of Dayton did not want the bridge to <br />connect with an existing road, and that the western alignment is <br />still their preferred alignment." The last sentence of the first <br />para~aph on page 6 of 7 should read ' Commissioner Deemer also <br />stated that the easterly alignment is not whol}y owned by the City <br />and some would have to be acquired for bridge right-of-way." <br />Forward on to the Economic Development Commission for their <br />formal approval. <br /> <br />With regard to transmission lines for Anoka Municipal Electric, <br />Council directed that #12 of the findings of fact be amended to read <br />"That the proposed transmission lines will be designed, <br />constructed, operated and maintained so as to be harmonious and <br />appropriate in appearance with the existing or intended character of <br />the general vicinity. Add 812 to the resolution to the utility permit <br />to read as follows: Subject to the fight of the City to direct use of <br />steel or wood poles adjacent to the Burlington Northern Railroad, <br />which direction the City shall give no later than December 15, <br />1994. <br /> <br />Execute Resolution ~794-11 250 (I--Iardin/Gilbertson/Beyer absent) <br />adopting Findings of Fac t g0370, as amended, relating to a request <br />from Git>, of Anoka Electric Utility to install and operate Electric <br />Transmission Lines within the CiD' of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Execute Resolution g{.-94-11-251 (Peterson/Gitbertson/Beyer absent) <br />approving the issuance of a utility permit, as amended, for the <br />installation and operation of transmission lines based on findings of <br />fact 80370, as amended, and declaring terms of same. <br /> <br /> <br />
