CASE #3 <br /> <br />REVIEW OF FOX RIDGE NEIGHBORHOOD PARK <br />By: Heidi Welsch, Community Development Intern <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The planning process has begun for a neighborhood park in the Fox Ridge Subdivision. The <br />empty lot west o~ Potassium St. N.W. in Fox Ridge Estates was set aside as park dedication by the <br />developers, Gered and Heidi Bauer. Additionally, Ouflot C, which contains wetland #2-323W <br />and trail access, Was deeded to the City of Ramsey on October 16, 1991, by the same developer. <br /> <br />Almost all of Out)ot C is wetland. In the northwest comer of Ouflot C is a trail access to Potassium <br />St N.W. and a sr~all island with large trees and shrubs. A large portion of the park dedication lot <br />is below the DN/R ordinary high water level (OHW) of 871'. Additionally, an NSP powerline <br />easement runs thxough the wetland from east to west across a portion of Outlot C and the park <br />dedication lot. <br /> <br />A budget of $65,000 has been assigned within the parks C.I.P. for 1995 to the proposed Fox <br />Ridge Neighbor ~h~x)d Park.
