07.05.94 <br /> <br />DRAFT FOR REVIEW <br /> <br />RRCMP, II-1 <br /> <br />RUM RIVER CENTRAL REGIONAL PARK MASTER PLAN <br /> <br />Section II: Stewardship <br /> <br />Anoka County Parks Department currently provides stewardship as <br />part of its maintenance in all regional and county park lands <br />under its control. <br /> <br />Erosion control, forestry, and mowing are joined with boundary <br />fencing, resource protection, control of unauthorized use, animal <br />control and other needed services currently provided to all parks <br />by Anoka County park maintenance crews and park rangers and <br />through contractual services. <br /> <br />Management activities are paid for from: <br /> <br />the County's property tax levy, <br />user fees and charges in some parks and facilities, <br />State of Minnesota supplemental operations and <br />maintenance grants through the Metropolitan Council and <br />other grants, and <br />occasionally, by donated funds or volunteered services. <br /> <br />Currently, no non-recreation uses are planned for this park, and <br />no revenue is anticipated from such sources. <br /> <br />Under current County Policy, users at Rum River Central RP, which <br />is without a swim facility, do not pay a general entrance or <br />parking fee. <br /> <br />If Phase I of the planned development were in place in 1994 and <br />all facilities operated by Anoka County, user fees would be <br />charged for: <br /> <br />picnic area reservations .... $25 <br />group camp reservations .... $25 <br />campgrounds ... $12 (hookups) <br />campgrounds ... $10 (no hookups) <br />canoe campsites .... $ 8 <br /> <br />There would be no charge to the public for any other activity in <br />the park. <br /> <br />rrcl~-2 <br /> <br />I <br />i <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
