People are <br />canoeing and fishing the river and are asking for facilities <br />which Hill make that a better experience. <br /> <br />There is a demand for canoe-camping sites on the river. <br />Most r~quests come from youth groups, smaller family groups <br />are al~o heard from. <br /> <br />Reserv~able group sites, for picnics and other day-uses, are <br />still ~n short supply in the County. Some of these should be <br />for larger groups, perhaps up to 250. Most should be <br />capabl~ of handling up to 100. In addition, sites for <br />family~ groups are still needed. If there were more of all <br />o~ these, they would be used. <br /> <br />4. There are not enough family camping sites in Anoka County. <br /> <br /> <br />
