Enclosed is my Resume' listing my experience and education. I feel that a well d,.~veloped and maintained park and recreation system is vital to the growth and development Of children and is a integral part of the community. Parks can attract future residents, enhance property values, i.e. growth and development in our area. In making educati-en my career and in working with children for ~he past 3 years, I am aware of the importance iof a well structured and maintained park and recreation system. When parks and recreation are readily available, they can be an essential part of a child's growth and development. They are an excellent place for social and physical development. A well organized recreational department gives children an outlet for their energies and interests. It offers~a variety of activities and gives the children something to occupy their time. With the ever increasing growth of gangs and destruction I feel that continual development and progress with~'parks and recreation will provide a support system. It also promotes family unity. When I grew up ir~ Ramsey, the only organized recreation was located at Ramsey Elementary and it was not easily accessible. Much progress has been made over the past 15 years. However, we mus~ continue to grow and develop to meet the needs of the community today and tomorrow as Well. I would like to be a part of these changes. Please contact me soon to set up an interview.
