control and supervision of department personnel, equipment, and budgeting, then the fire <br />chief should be treated just like all other department heads. I believe that some cities treat <br />their fire chief like supervisory or administrative staff within the fire department ',,,,ho would <br />hold only a temporary work assignment for a given period of time. However, I believe other <br />cities do view the fire chief as a department head as is the case in Ramsey. <br /> <br />If you have any more questions, please feel free to contact me.
