Councilm~mb~r ' introduced the following r~solution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION .1~94-03- RESOLUTION APPROVING CLIMB THEATRE, INC. APPLICATION FOR A PREMISE PERMIT FOR LAWFUL GAMBLING (PULL TABS AND RAFFLES) AT LALLY'S ~N 10 IN RAMSEY WHERE~AS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has applied for a premise permit for gambling at Lally's on 10, 6957 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey; and WHERE~S, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. is a theatre company from St. Paul, Minnesota; and WHERE[AS, CLIMB Theatre, Inc. has requested Council waive the 30-day notice provision; and : WHERE&S, the Gambling Control Board Division of the Department of Gaming requires the City of Rams{y adopt a resolution specifically approving or denying the application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, iANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the g, amsey City Council hereby approves the premise permit application for CLIMB Theatre, Ibc. to operate pull tabs and raffles at Lally's on 10, 6937 Highway #10 N.W., Ramsey. 2) That the Pmmsey City Council agrees to waive the 30-day notice provision. 3) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the City Administrator to sign the apphcafio ,fi and any other documents required by the Minnesota Gambling Control Board. The motion for thC adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon ~vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following ~oted against the same: and the following ~abstained: F and the following ~were absent: whereupon said rdsolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of March, 1994 Mayor ATTEST: City Administrator~ ,5'7
