Voting No: None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request for a Conditional Use Permit for an Accessory <br /> Apartment; Case of Curtiss Titterud <br /> <br />Zoning Adminisu'ator Frolik stated that Curtiss and Blanche Titterud have applied for a <br />conditional use permit to maintain an accessory apartment in the lower level of their home at <br />6865 - 162nd Lane N.W. She explained that the Titterud's are retired and live out-of-state <br />six months a year. They rent the lower level of their home to provide year-round security <br />and caretaking for their property. The Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a <br />public hearing regarding the Titterud's request and no opposition stated, <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to adopt <br />Resolution #93-09-218 adopting Findings of Fact #0346 relating to Curtiss Titterud's <br />request for a conditional use permit for an accessory apartment. <br /> <br />Morion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmembers Zimmerman, Beyer, <br />Hardin and Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Peterson and seconded by Mayor Gilbertson to approve Curtiss <br />Tittemd's request for a conditional use permit and adopt Resolution ~93-09-219 declaring <br />terms of the permit <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gilbertson, Councilmcmbers Peterson, Beyer, Hardin <br />and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case ~2: Request for Final Plat Approval of Cedar Hills 3rd Addition; <br /> Case of Trusek, Inc. <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated that the developer of Cedar Hills is requesting final plat <br />approval of the 3rd Addition, which is in conformance with the approved preliminary plat <br />and phasing plan from 1990. This third and f'mal phase consists of 46 lots. She added that <br />the City Staff review letter notes some very minor deficiencies in either lot width or area <br />requirements. With the exception of the lot width on Lot 5, Block 1, the deficiencies are <br />not substantial enough to require corrections.
