James <br /> <br /> GAME FAIR BOOTH <br />Gromberg, Economic Development <br /> <br />CASE # 3 <br /> <br />Coordinator <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />The City of Ram~ey has received notification that the Game Fair for 1995 will be held the <br />weekends of AugOst 11, 12, 13 and August 18, 19, 20. As you are all aware, the City's booth <br />needs to be occup[ied at all times during the event. With the event last year, there were some <br />problems with h.a~jng enough volunteers to he at the booth. At this time, everyone should place <br />this event on their~schedules to prevent the same problem in 1995. The shifts will again be only <br />four and one-half liours which will allow you not to have a full day at the event. <br /> <br />The booth will co.. t the City $200, which is less than half the normal cost of $425. These funds <br />will be from the E, :onomic Development Commission budget. Last year, the biggest item was the <br />map of the Anoka 2ounty Area. This year I have talked to Pete at the Chamber of Commerce, and <br />he has reserved fi' ~e cases of maps for use at this event.
