RLK Associates w}ll convert paper map and information to a electronic mapping format. This information may be provi{led to the City in both disc and hard copy format. The disc format then may be shared with any party that the City deems appropriate to receive the information. The City may wish to establish a user-fee schedule with the distribution of this information. The mat)pinginformation may be updated by RLK in two principal forms: I. through information provided to tile City by private sector land developers' (we assume to require this the City ,,viii need to revise its s~ibdivision ordinance); and, 2. through information provided by the City (or information obtained by RLK Associates at the request of the City). Of course, this general framework may be reviewed as t~e City acquires computer hardware and software. As we have d~$cussed, there are many advantages of having a fully developed digital mapping system City o!Ramsey. Perhaps the most important advantage is having stored in a single database a for the variety ofinfo}'mation sources that can be manipulated and used at the operators discretion.
