There have also been past discussions about when persons
who are in exemp~ positions should be considered for wage adjustments. Most often these persons
have been delaye4! in this consideration. At this time there doesn't appear to be a reason for delay
of a wage consid~,ratiorL Therefore, it is recommended that these adjustments occur at this time as
was discussed in ,l~pril. The proposal is as attached. Also attached is the 1994 survey of area city
wages for positiofls above $30,000 in wage. Affected Staff have received a copy of this proposal.

Recommendation:

Committee ActiOn:

To approve the bu~dgeted wage increases and forward the recommendation to City Council for
approval.

To approve fl~e budlgeted insurance increase to $290 per month comparable to AF$Ca"fl~ and LELS
· ;
effecnve August li 1995.

Review Checkli~;t:

City Administrator
Administrative Semites Manager

PC: 12/13/94

Copies also distributed to:

Police Chief
Finance Officer
City Engineer
Public Works Supervisor
Sergeant
Parks/Utilities Supervisor
Accounting Supervisor
Recording Secretary
