Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-04-100 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION MUNICIPAL STATE AID SYSTEM DESIGNATIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has adopted a Comprehensive Plan which provides for <br />a system of arterial and collector thoroughfare; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has established a Municipal State Aid System <br />(MSAS) under Chapter 162 of the State Statutes which promotes the construction and <br />maintenance of such an arterial and collector system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is in the b est interest o f t he City o f R amsey t o modify t he designated <br />MSAS to conform to its changing transportation needs; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the following MSAS segments be removed from the system: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />The entire segment of 104 020 which is a non-existing roadway from Ramsey <br />Blvd. NW to Armstrong Blvd. NW. a distance of 1.16 miles. <br />A portion of segment 104 010 which is a non existent roadway, beginning a <br />distance of 0.27 miles east of Puma Street NW and terminating at Armstrong <br />Blvd. NW, a distance of 0.48 miles. <br />A portion of segment 109 070, which is a non-existing segment of Traprock St. <br />NW, beginning a distance 0.21 miles north of US Hwy 10 & 169 and terminating <br />at its intersection with segment 109 070, a distance of 0.21 miles. <br /> <br />(2) That the following MSAS segments be added to the system. <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />(f) <br /> <br />A new portion of segment 104, which would be nonexistent, Sunwood Drive, <br />beginning at Ramsey Blvd. NW and terminating at Armstrong Blvd. NW, a <br />distance of 1.08 mi. <br />A new segment, which would be nonexistent Zeolite Street, beginning at the <br />Sunwood Drive (segments (a) above) and terminating at CR 116, a distance o f <br />0.27 miles. <br />A new segment of 109, which is nonexistent Traprock Street, beginning at a point <br />0.21 miles north of US Hwy 10 & 169 and terminating at the intersection with CR <br />116, a distance of 0.44 miles. <br />A new segment of nonexistent Uranimite Street, beginning at CR 116 and <br />terminating at 149th Ave. NW, a distance of 0.26 miles. <br />A new segment consisting of Uranimite Street from 149th Ave. NW to 152nd Lane <br />NW, a distance of 0.45 miles. <br />A new segment of nonexistent Uranimite Street beginning at 152nd Ave. NW and <br />terminating at Alpine Drive, a distance of 0.29 miles. <br /> <br /> <br />
