<br />Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-09-228 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0648 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FOR A VARIANCE TO THE SIDE YARD SETBACK FOR AN ACCESSORY <br />STRUCTURE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Bradley Spleiss, hereinafter referred to as “Applicant,” has properly applied <br />for a variance from Section 9.20.11 (R-1 Residential District) of the Ramsey City Code to <br />construct an accessory structure within the established side yard setback for an accessory <br />structure on the property generally known as 16021 Jaspar St NW and legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Commencing at the northeast corner of the Southwest Quarter of Section 15, <br />Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota; thence on a bearing of south 89 <br />degrees, 29 minutes west a distance of 870.03 feet; thence on a bearing of south <br />parallel with the east line of said Southwest Quarter a distance of 253.00 feet to the <br />point of beginning of the tract of land to be described; thence continue on a bearing of <br />south a distance of 263.00 feet; thence on a bearing of east a distance of 209.76 feet; <br />thence on a bearing of north a distance of 263.00 feet; thence on a bearing of west a <br />distance of 279.76 feet to the point of beginning. Along and together with the right <br />to ingress and egress over the following described easements. A strip of land 33 feet <br />in width lying east of and directly adjacent to the following described line: <br />Commencing at the northeast corner of said Southwest Quarter; thence on a bearing <br />of south 89 degrees, 29 minutes west along the north line thereof a distance of 870.03 <br />feet to the point of beginning of the line to be described; thence on a bearing of south <br />parallel to the east line of said Southwest Quarter to Anoka County Road No. 56 and <br />there terminating. Said adjacent line to be extended north to its intersection with said <br />north line thereof. And also over a strip of land 66 feet in width lying 33 feet on each <br />side of the following described centerline: Commencing at the northeast corner of <br />said Southwest Quarter, thence on a bearing of south 89 degrees 29 minutes west <br />along the north line thereof a distance of 870.03 feet; thence on a bearing of south <br />parallel to the east line of said Southwest Quarter a distance of 253.00 feet to the <br />point of beginning of the centerline to be described; thence on a bearing of east a <br />distance of 419.53 feet to a point on a line parallel with and 450.46 feet west (as <br />measured at right angles) of the east line of said Southwest Quarter; thence continue <br />on a bearing of east a distance of 33 feet; thence return on a bearing of west along <br />last described course 33 feet to said parallel line; thence on a bearing of south a <br />distance of 789.0 feet; thence return on a bearing of north along last described course <br />a distance of 33 feet; thence on a bearing of west a distance of 419.53 feet to its <br />intersection with a line bearing south from the point of beginning and there <br />terminating. <br /> <br />(Subject Property) <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
