F. Perform other duties as assigned at the verbal or written direction of the Public Works <br />Director Principal City Engineer. <br />KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: <br />Knowledge of current engineering principles and design standards as they relate to municipal <br />constriction projects. <br />Knowledge of public processes and public involvement techniques. <br />Knowledge of special assessment financing. <br />Knowledge of working relationships with state, county, and regional agencies. <br />Ability to prepare written reports that are thorough, accurate, concise and well-organized. <br />Ability to build consensus among diverse groups. <br />Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written formats. <br />Ability to provide supervision to department staff. <br />TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: <br />Minimum: <br />1. Possession of a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an accredited college or <br />university. <br />2. Professional registration in the State of Minnesota. <br />3. Minimum of years civil engineering experience after registration. Prefer municipal <br />experience or other public sector experience. <br />4. Significant computer experience, knowledge of CAD/CAM and GIS systems and <br />implementation. <br />5. Possession of a valid class D state driver's license with a good driving record. <br />Desired Qualifications: <br />1.
