Demar Wanstrom acknowledged that he is now present and would like to be interviewed <br />for the position on the Commission. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table action to recommend an appointment to the <br />Commission and interview Demar Wanstrom later in the meeting. Refer to pages 9 and 10 <br />for further action. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Request For A Conditional Use Permit To Construct And <br />Maintain An Emergency Radio Receiver Tower; Case Of Anoka <br />County Central Communications: <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman recalled that on March 6, the Commission conducted a public <br />hearing regarding Anoka County's request for a conditional use permit to construct and <br />maintain an emergency radio receiver tower on Lot 1, Block 3, Autumn Heights. At that <br />time, the case was tabled to allow Anoka County and concerned residents to meet and <br />formulate an acceptable development plan. <br /> <br />Morale Mox, Anoka County Central Communications, was present and stated that he and a <br />representative of the concerned neighbors, Gil Bisek, met and came to a compromise on the <br />development of the radio receiver tower. <br /> <br />Gil Bisek was present and stated that the neighborhood is in agreement with the proposed <br />development plan. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart noted that Staff is following up on Commissioner Deemer's suggestion that <br />the City acquire the remaining portion of the subject property from Anoka County for <br />public purposes. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to add the <br />following item to the proposed findings of fact: <br /> <br />#18) <br /> <br />That the City of Ramsey has received a letter from Morrie Mox, Anoka <br />County Senior Ratio Technician, dated March 26, 1990, indicating that the <br />major concerns relating to the construction and maintenance of a radio <br />receiver tower have been resolved with area residents. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Bawden, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue and Terry. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend <br />that the City Council adopt the proposed findings of fact, as amended, relating to Anoka <br />County's request for a conditional use permit to construct and maintain an emergency radio <br />receiver tower. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Bawden, <br />Hendriksen, LaDue and Terry.
