Chairman Zimmerman recalled that the Commission tabled sketch plan review of Cedar
Acres on April 3, 1990, pending an on-site meeting to review drainage concerns as they
relate to the adjacent Hunter's Hill subdivision. That on-site meeting was held on April 17,
1990 and at that time the City Engineer was directed to report on options to improve
drainage in the area; that report has not yet been received. Hopefully, the drainage issue
will be addressed prior to the preliminary plat public hearing for Cedar Acres.

Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Terry to accept the
sketch plan for Cedar Acres contingent upon drainage issues being resolved and
compliance with items contained in the City Engineer's report dated March 27, 1990 and
directing the developer to proceed to preliminary plat stage.

Further Discussion: Wally Anderson stated that because this is the sketch plan stage, no
action has been taken to comply with items in the City Engineer's report but will be acted
upon by the time of the preliminary plat. Commissioner Deemer indicated that he feels
there are better options for the layout of Cedar Acres and he is also opposed to having a
commercial lot in this lcoation.

Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue,
Bawden, Terry and Thorud. Voting No: Commissioner Deemer.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to adjourn the
regular Planning and Zoning Commission meeting.

Motion carried.
