Case #2: <br /> <br />Request tO Rezone the Proposed Plat of Chestnut Pond Addition from I-1 <br />Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential; case of Good Value Homes, Inc. <br /> <br />Mrs. Frolik stated that John Peterson of Good Value Homes, Inc. is requesting approval to <br />rezone the proposed plat of Chestnut Pond Addition from I-1 Industrial to R-1 Urban <br />Residential. The subject property is approximately 23 acres in size, proposed to be <br />subdivided into 18 urban residential lots and is located South of the proposed Cedar Hills <br />plat and North of County Road #116. The plat is proposed to be served by sanitary sewer <br />and municipal water. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed Findings of Fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Terry to amend item #2 <br />of the proposed Findings of Fact related to the rezoning of the proposed plat of Chestnut <br />Pond Addition to indicate that the applicant was not present, but that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission did conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Terry, <br />Bawden and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen and <br />LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Thorud to add item #11 <br />to the proposed Findings of Fact related to the rezoning of the proposed plat of Chestnut <br />Pond Addition to indicate that the subject property was rezoned from residential to <br />industrial less than five (5) years ago. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Deemer, Thorud, <br />Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Terry to recommend <br />that City Council adopt the Findings of Fact, as amended, related to Mr. John Peterson's <br />request to rezone the proposed plat of Chestnut Pond Addition from I-1 Industrial to R-1 <br />Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Bawden, Terry, <br />Deemer and Thorud. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Thorud and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to recommend <br />that City Council approve Mr. John Peterson's request to rezone the proposed plat of <br />Chestnut Pond Addition from I-1 Industrial to R-1 Urban Residential. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Absent: Commissioners Hendriksen and LaDue. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for Sketch Plan Review of Fleischer's 2nd Addition; case of <br /> <br />D01oras Fleischer / Bill Baker / Anderson Land Surveying ! Douglas <br />Whitney. <br /> <br />Mr. Bill Baker was present representing Doloras Fleischer. Mr. Bill Baker referred to the <br />City Engineer's report dated June 26, 1990 and requested that his sketch plan be <br />withdrawn for redrawing.
