Council Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION # <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE 2012 CITY HEALTH INSURANCE <br />CONTRIOBU IONS FOR LELS-PATROL AND LELS-SERGERANTS <br />WHEREAS, both LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants are currently working under a 2-year <br />contract effective January 1, 2011 through December 31, 2012; and <br />WHEREAS, the only open item for the second year of the contracts is the City's 2012 health <br />insurance contributions; and <br />WHEREAS, staff and LELS-Patrol and LELS-Sergeants have come to a tentative agreement <br />on the City's 2012 health insurance contributions, which are the same contributions as that offered to <br />all other employee groups; and <br />WHEREAS, the tentative agreement includes, effective January 1, 2012, the following <br />contributions to health insurance and employee HRAIVEBA accounts, as well as $20,000 basic life <br />insurance. <br />Family <br />100% $30.00 co -pay <br />$1500I$3000 Ded, Plan wfVEBA <br />$2500/$5000 Ded.
