Staff met with the consultant and the Contractor to revise the price quote to include only those railing that are <br />located on the 4th floor. The price to install a 1' - 1" railing on the top of those concrete areas to discourage kids to <br />use those areas for walking would be $35,344. Attached to this case are the quote that we received and a picture <br />showing one area where there would be additional railing installed. It should be noted that there was an error on <br />the quote that identifies that this price includes sunscreen which was not a recommended improvement from the <br />Public Works Committee. After checking with the Contractor, the price does not include sunscreen. <br />Funding Source: <br />The funding for this change order would be from TIF 1.
