The results show that this ethnic group <br />accounted for more than half of the nation's growth since 2000. <br />The 2010 census unveiled an even more dramatic reality: it is <br />projected that the Hispanic population will reach 134 million <br />people by 2050. Hispanic purchasing power accounted for 11% <br />of total purchasing power in the U.S. in 2010, and projections <br />suggest that this figure will rise to 15% by 2015.
