MOTION by Thorud, Seconded by LaDue, Item 16, "do not". (That the special conditions do not result from actions of the Applicant.) Motion carries on a 4-Yes (Hendriksen, LaDue, Thorud, Zommerman), 1-No (Deemer), 2-Absent (Bawden, Terry) vote. MOTION by Deemer, Seconded by Thorud, Item 17, "will not". (That the granting of the variance will not grant the Applicant any special privilege...) Motion carried unanimously (Absent: Bawden, Terry). MOTION by Deemer, Seconded by Thorud, modify Item 18 to change the word "the" to "a". (That the variance requested is a minimum variance...) Motion carried unanimously (Absent: Bawden, Terry). MOTION by Thorud, Seconded by Deemer, Item 19, "wi]! not". (That If granted, the variance will not be materially detrimental...) Motion carried unanlmous]y (Absent: Bawden, Terry). In discussing Item 20, Mr. Pinewski had forgotten to note he has a ground-water heat pump with closed loop buried 2 1/2 feet underground in his back yard. That would need to be disturbed if the building were to be built behind his house. MOTION by Deemer, Seconded by Thorud, to modify Item 2 to note that the applicant did appear at the regular meeting of the Board of Adjustment. Motion carried unanimously (Absent: Bawden, Terry). MOTION by Deemer, Seconded by Thorud, to accept the Findings of Fact as amended. Motion carried unanimously (Absent: Bawden, Terry). The Board asked Mr. Pinewski if he was sure the location he is asking for is not less than 850 feet from the front property line and that the structure will not be more than 24 feet in height. Mr. Pinewski said that is correct. He also noted the top of the building will actually be lower than the top of the house. He also agreed to plant 1,000 trees in the Spring of 199i for screening, especially on the north and west sides and had no problem making that a part of the permit. MOTION by Deemer, Seconded by Thorud, to add Item 8 on Page 5 as Item 3 on the proposed variance. Motion carried on a 4-Yes (Deemer, LaDue, Thorud, Zimmerman), 1-No (Hendriksen), 2-Absent (Bawden, Terry) vote. Chairman Hendrlksen felt 1,000 trees is excessive. The Board continued to discuss the proposal of adding a condition to the permit that it not be used for commercial purposes to coincide wlth Item 12 in the Findings of Fact (That the Applicant has stated that the proposed accessory structure will be used for hobby farm and personal equipment storage purposes only.).
