Federal Government Relations Group <br />Megan G. Knight joined the firm's Federal Relations Group after working in Minnesota <br />Governor Tim Pawlenty's administration. There she served as the legislative coordinator <br />for the Mirulesota Department of Health executing Governor Pawlenty's health care <br />legislative agenda. During this time, Ms. Knight successfully passed the All Hazards <br />Emergency Response legislation coordinating state, county, and local entities in the <br />response to natural disasters or terrorist attacks. She achieved extensive experience in <br />developing and implementing bold and innovative public health policy while serving <br />Governor Pawlenty's administration. Ms. Knight previously worked at LOCKRIDGE <br />GRINDAL NAUEN State Government Relations Minneapolis office, assisting numerous <br />clients on health care, and business related issues. <br />Her keen understanding of health care issues is complimented by her experience working <br />with key elected officials, including time as a Legislative Assistant in the Minnesota, <br />Senate Republican Caucus and time working with former Minnesota Senator Dave <br />Durenberger at the National Institute of Health Policy in Minneapolis. Ms. Knight also <br />has worked on numerous local, state, and national campaigns including achieving the <br />largest number of Republican Senators in Minnesota history. <br />Ms. Knight is a graduate of the University of St. Thomas with a bachelor's degree in <br />Political Science. <br />Lockridge Grindal Nauen 17 <br />
