Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #8 Discussion of Proposed Comprehensive Plan Update. <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue. <br /> <br />Case #9 Consider 1991 Parks CIP <br /> <br />The consensus of the Commission was to table this issue. <br /> <br />Case #11 Sale of City Surplus Property <br /> <br />Mark Banwart explained that the City has acquired some tax forfeit property in the <br />northern section of Ramsey. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that the subject property was transferred from one family member <br />to another but was never recorded. Therefore, the most recent property owner never <br />received a property tax statement. As a result the property eventually went tax forfeit <br />and the City acquired it. The person in whose name the property should have been <br />recorded is now requesting that the City sell the property back to him as surplus land. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart explained the procedure for selling surplus land. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairman Hetland and seconded by Commissioner Lokker to direct City Staff to <br />sell surplus property on Ermine Boulevard PIN number 06-32-25-22-0005. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #12 Discussion reqarding Green Business Expo. <br /> <br />Commissioner Prall reported that Environmental Specialist Bruce Bacon inquired if the <br />Park and Recreation Commission would be interested in having a booth at the Green <br />Business Expo on April 18, 1990. <br /> <br />Commissioner Prall stated that she would be available to set up a booth and <br />Commissioner Roselle said that she may be able to help man the booth. <br /> <br />Case #10 Discussion regarding the Tree City Grant Awards Ceremony. <br /> <br />Mark Banwart told the Commission that Ramsey would be recognized at the Tree City <br />U.S.A. Awards ceremony at the St. Paul Students Center. He also told the Commission that <br />if anyone was interested in attending, they were welcome. <br /> <br />Chairman Hetland stated that he would like to attend. <br /> <br />Case #3 Review of Trail Alignment and Tot-lot Park at Northfork <br /> P.U.D.; case of North Fork, Inc. <br /> <br />Mark Banwart explained that the Park plan for Northfork is nearly complete.
