Motion by Commissioner Roselle and seconded by Commissioner Prall to have the parks <br />plan passed on to the City Council for consideration and adoption as the Cities official <br />parks plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Hetland, Commissioners, Lokker, Johnson, Prall <br />and Roselle. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Rustad. <br /> <br />Case #8 Update on Park Improvement Pro!ects <br /> <br />Merland Otto reviewed some of the projects that were underway and informed the <br />Commission that the City Council awarded the contract for the backstops and that they <br />were ordered along with the player benches. Mr. Otto also informed the Commission that <br />the tot-lot equipment for River's Bend Park and Titterud Park had arrived last year and <br />needs to be installed. <br /> <br />Case #9 Stockpilino of material in City Parks. <br /> <br />Merland Otto told the Commission that while Anoka County is working on County Road <br />#83 they would like to stockpile the material they're removing in Autumn Heights Park. <br />There will be about 10,000 yards of material being stockpiled. The County will be <br />testing the acidic and alkaline content before stockpiling and they will get a Conditional <br />Use Permit. He also informed the Commission that the City will be able to use the <br />material but that it will take about one year to use it all. <br /> <br />COMMISSION INPUT <br /> <br />Commissioner Prall informed the rest of the Commission that the annual City vs. <br />Country ball game will be held on June 16, 1990, rain day will be the 18th, anyone who <br />is interested in playing please sign up at the City Hall. <br /> <br />ADJOURN <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Prall and seconded by Commissioner Roselle to adjourn the <br />meeting at 10:45. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
