Case #6: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of The North Forty <br /> 2nd Addition; Case Of Mr. Richard Sybrant: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that Mr. Sybrant does not have all the required information and is <br />requesting being withdrawn from the agenda. <br /> <br />Case #8: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of Oak Run; Case Of <br /> Mr. Gerald Bauer: <br /> <br />Mr. Jeff Caine was present representing Mr. Gerald Bauer and requesting preliminary plat <br />approval of Oak Run. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to enter Ms. <br />Colleen Rybak's letter dated March 10, 1989 requesting consideration be given to <br />constructing a dip in Coquina Street to alleviate speeding problems. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, Terry, <br />LaDue and Hendriksen. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Howell and Holm. <br /> <br />The Commissioner reviewed the City Engineer's report dated February 29, 1989. <br /> <br />Mr. Caine stated that the drainage and grading plan cannot be completed until the status of <br />requiring paving Coquina Street is known. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart noted that City Staff is recommending requiting paving of Coquina Street. <br />The benefitting property owners and Mr. Bauer have the option for the paving to be a <br />cooperative project or a city project. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to recommend <br />preliminary plat approval of Oak Run Addition with the following conditions: <br /> <br />That variances to lot size and a common access onto a major thoroughfare <br />be granted to Lots 7 and 8, Block 1. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />That trees and plantings on Lot 7, Block 1, be limited so as to not restrict <br />visibility onto CSAH No. 5. <br /> <br />c) <br /> <br />That the developer complies with all items contained in the City Engineer's <br />report dated February 28, 1989. <br /> <br />d) That Coquina Street be blacktopped. <br /> <br />e) <br /> <br />The right of access to the county highway from Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 1, <br />should be dedicated to Anoka County with the driveway access location <br />indicated for Lots 7 and 8. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Shumway, Terry, <br />LaDue and Hendriksen. Voting No: None.
