PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br />PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission conducted a public hearing on Monday, <br />July 10, 1989 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, <br />Minnesota regarding Mr. Jon Rambosek's request for preliminary plat approval of Nature <br />View Addition. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman, Chairman <br />Mr. David Bawden <br />Mr. Terry Hendriksen <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br />Mr. Roy Shumway <br />Mr. Ben Deemer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Community Development Director Mark Banwart <br /> <br />Members Absent: Mr. Michael Terry <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman called the public hearing to order at 7:38 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />The following persons were acknowledged as being present: <br /> <br />Dora Nallick - 244 Morgan Avenue South, Mpls. <br />William Walsh - 15800 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey <br />Bob Zaske - 15941 Dolomite St. N.W., Ramsey <br />Steve Johnson - 15911 Dolomite St. N.W., Ramsey <br />Harold Dirksen - 15971 Dolomite St. N.W., Ramsey <br /> <br />Steve Johnson ~ 15911 Dolomite - Stated that the extension of 159th to access Nature View <br />will pass by his property and inquired as to who will be responsible for the cost of <br />construction and future maintenance of that extended portion. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman replied that the developer would be responsible for the cost of <br />constructing the extension of 159th. <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that maintenance costs would be the responsibility of the 19 property <br />owners in Nature View. <br /> <br />Steve Johnson - Stated that he planted trees 10-15 years and inquired if the extension of <br />159th will impact those trees. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman replied that if the trees are within the right-of-way, they are on city <br />property and would probably have to be removed. <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Public Hearing/July 10, 1989 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
