Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Request For Site Plan Approval For Danny's Aluminum <br /> Processing; case of Mr. Dan Karst: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that Mr. Karst of Danny's Aluminum Processing is requesting site plan <br />approval to upgrade the existing building at 14050 Basalt Street N.W. Mr. Banwart noted <br />the City Engineer's report dated July 10, 1989 and recommended approval contingent upon <br />compliance with the Engineer's report and City Code. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the site plan. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to recommend <br />that City Council approve the site plan for Danny's Aluminum Processing contingent upon <br />compliance with items discussed in the City Engineer's report dated July 10, 1989 and City <br />Code. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Case #2: Request For Sketch Plan Review Of Evergreen Estates <br /> Addition; Case Of Mr. Louis Wilhelmi: <br /> <br />Mr. Banwart stated that the proposed addition is located south of 173rd and west of <br />Driscoll Street and consists of 44 acres to be developed with one 2.5 acre lot. <br /> <br />The Commission reviewed the City Engineer's report dated June 29, 1989. <br /> <br />Mr. Wilhelmi stated that he is willing to dedicate all the easement necessary for the <br />extention of 173rd. <br /> <br />With regards to the proposed lot orientation, the Commission asked that City Engineer <br />Raatikka reconsider his recommendation in Item #5 of his June 29 report. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to <br />recommend that City Council approve the sketch plan for Evergreen Estates Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
