Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Shumway to recommend <br />that City Council approve the preliminary plat of Alicia Addition contingent upon the <br />developer complying with the City Engineer's report dated July 5, 1989, specifically, that <br />there is to be no access onto Cty. Rd. #63 from Lot 3, Block 1; that a variance be granted <br />to Lot 2 for the minimum width requirement; that a drainage easement be shown on the plat; <br />submittal of soil borings to the City Engineer. Further, that per the Commission's previous <br />motion, streets will be developed to property perimeters. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Shumway, Bawden and Deemer. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Terry. <br /> <br />Case #5: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval For Nature View <br /> Addition; Case of Mr. Jon Rambosek: <br /> <br />Mr. Rambosek was present requesting preliminary plat approval of Nature View proposed <br />to be located northeast of High Point. The plat consists of 70 acres proposed to be <br />developed with 19 single family lots. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review reports from Anoka County, Army Corps of <br />Engineers, Park & Recreation Commission and the City Enginner. <br /> <br />Mr. Rambosek stated that he is proposing to obtain the needed fill for Nature View from <br />the Oakwood Hills plat. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hendriksen expressed concern with fill being added to drainage areas. <br /> <br />Mr. Rambosek stated that the Army Corps of Engineers is reviewing plat drainage and he is <br />responsible for replacing any areas filled. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to recommend <br />that City Council approve the preliminary plat of Nature View Addition abased on the City <br />Engineer's report dated July 5, 1989. Further, to note that the necessary fill will most <br />likely be obtained from the Oakwood Hills plat. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue, <br />Shumway, Bawden and Deemer. Voting No: None.
