Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend <br />that City Council approve Mr. Bret Scott's request for a conditional use permit for a <br />commercial dog kennel. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Commissioner Deemer noted that the application indicates someone <br />other than Mr. Scott is the fee owner of the subject property. Mr. Scott stated that he is <br />purchasing the property on a contract for deed. Ms. Frolik noted that a conditional use <br />permit is granted to the property versus the property owner; ceasing the use for a period of <br />12 months voids the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Amendment by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />revise Item #3 of the proposed conditional use permit to read as follows: 'No dog shall be <br />permitted to be left outside while no one is home.' <br /> <br />Amendment carried.
