Case #9: Request For Conditional Use Permit To Expand Ramsey Auto <br /> Sales; Case Of Robert and Louis Wojcik: <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated June 29, 1989 <br />relating to the site plan submitted for the existing site and proposed expansion to Ramsey <br />Auto Sales. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer suggested that the property owners have the 3 separate parcels <br />combined as one lot of record. Commissioner Deemer also suggested that the auto sales <br />operation maintain a drive through area. <br /> <br />Chairman Zimmerman stated that he foresees traffic stacking problems with vehicles exiting <br />off of Hwy. #10 to Cty. Rd. #56. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to table <br />action on Robert and Louis Wojcik's request for a conditional use permit to expand <br />Ramsey Auto Sales until all of the following items have been provided: <br /> <br />A report from City Staff regarding the status of compliance with the current <br />conditional use permit. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />A recommendation from the City Attorney regarding suggested wording for a <br />conditional use permit term that would require the applicants to provide financial <br />security to be used in mitigating the cost of enforcing the condtional use permit and <br />assuring compliance. <br /> <br />Correction of deficient items on the site plan (septic system location, alternate septic <br />system location, certified lot survey, indication of number of employees). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Bawden, Deemer, <br />LaDue, Hendriksen and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Bawden that the <br />City St'iff also draft a term to be included in the proposed conditional use permit that would <br />prohibit the exterior storage of inoperable vehicles on the property and limit the auto sales <br />inventory to vehicles that meet State requirements for operation on Minnesota roadways. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Bawden, Deemer, <br />LaDue, Hendriksen and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway. <br /> <br />Commissioner Terry suggested that the conditional use permit also require designation of <br />the customer parking area. <br /> <br />Case #10: <br /> <br />Request To Rezone The Proposed Plat Of Chestnut Hills From <br />R-1 Rural Residential To R-I Urban Residential; Case Of Mr. <br />John Peterson; Good Value Homes: <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br /> <br />Planning & Zoning Commission/July 18, 1989 <br /> Page 7 of 11 <br /> <br /> <br />
