Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Case -//'4: <br /> <br />Request For A Conditional Use Permit To Operate An Auto <br />Detail Shop In The R-1 Rural Residential District; Case Of Mr. <br />Donald Milinkovich: <br /> <br />Mr. Milinkovich was present requesting a conditional use permit to operate an auto detail <br />shop on his property at 6501 Green Valley Road. The operation consists of a <br />comprehensive cleaning of vehicle in preparation for resale at used car lots; there would not <br />be more than one customer vehicle on the property at any time. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer expressed concern with contamination resulting from the residue of <br />the cleaning operations; residue being detergents, grease, oil, etc. <br /> <br />Mr. Milinkovich stated that he would be willing to install a holding tank to collect residue <br />or clean engines at car washes. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed findings of fact. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to amend Item <br />#15 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate that the proposed use will not impair the use <br />or enjoyment of surrounding property. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to amend <br />Item#16 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate that the proposed use will be <br />harmonious with the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to amend <br />Item #19 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate that the proposed use will not be <br />hazardous or disturbing to existing and future neighboring uses. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Bawden and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to amend Item <br />#23 of the proposed findings of fact to indicate that the proposed use will be consistent <br />with the City's Zoning Chapter. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None.
