Motion by Chairman Zimmerman and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to add an item to <br />the proposed findings of fact indicating that at the public hearing on August 1, 1989, a <br />letter was received from Wayne Davis of 6530 Green Valley Road indicating his support of <br />the request for a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to add an <br />item to the proposed findings of fact indicating that Mr. Milinkovich has stated that engine <br />cleaning is not an essential pan of the auto detail business and can be accomplished off-site <br />or on-site in compliance with local, State and Federal standards. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to <br />recommend that City Council adopt the findings of fact, as amended, relating to Mr. Don <br />Milinkovich's request for a conditional use permit for an auto detail business. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />The Commission proceeded to review the proposed conditional use permit. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen to add an item to the proposed conditional use permit <br />to indicate that the number of employees will be limited to immediate family members <br />residing on the premises. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Bawden to add an item <br />to the proposed conditional use permit to indicate that any on-site cleaning of engines <br />and/or any auto parts with fluids is prohibited unless an approved hazardous fluid <br />collection system is installed in accordance with local, State and Federal standards. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Shumway, Terry and LaDue. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner Hendriksen to <br />recommend that City Council approve the issuance of a conditional use permit, as <br />amended, to Mr. Donald Milinkovich for an auto detail shop at 6501 Green Valley Road. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, Deemer <br />and Bawden. Voting No: None.
