The Park and Recreation Commission recommended that a traffic
signal be erected at the new County Road #116 and Highway #47 intersection, including a
pedestrian crossing.

Motion by Commissioner Hendriksen and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to support
the recommendation of the Park and Recreation Commission and request that City Council
pursue the installation of a traffic signal and pedestrian crossing at County Road #116 and
Highway #47.

Further Discussion: Mr. Banwart noted that City Staff is also recommending the
installation of a traffic signal at 142nd Avenue N.W. and Highway #47. The Commission
determined that it will not take action regarding a traffic signal at 142nd until such time as a
recommendation is brought before them regarding that specific location.

Motion carded.
