Case #8: Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of The North Forty
Third Addition; Case of Richard J. Sybrant, R.J.S. Builders,
Inc.:

Mr. Richard Sybrant was present requesting preliminary plat approval of The North Forty
Third Addition. The plat consists of 70.2 acres proposed to be platted into 26 single family
rural lots. The subject property is located west of County Road #83 and south of
Whispering Pines Plat #3.

Mark Banwart noted that the Park and Recreation Commission has discussed requiring land
for park dedication that would connect with the park property acquired in The North Forty
Second Addition and also connect Traprock Park with the Northfork trail system.

The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated September 26,
1989.

Motion by Commissioner LaDue and seconded by Commissioner Deemer to recommend
that City Council approve preliminary plat of The North Forty Third Addition contingent
upon compliance with items contained in the City Engineer's report dated September 26,
1989.

Further Discussion: Commissioner Deemer noted that if possible, it would be better if the
plat could align to intersect with 155th on the east side of County Road #83 to provide for a
'X' intersection versus a 'T' intersection.

Motion carded. Voting Yes: Chairman Zimmerman, Commissioners Hendriksen, LaDue,
Deemer, Bawden and Terry. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Shumway.

Case #10:

Request For Preliminary Plat Approval Of Sorteberg's 6th
Addition; Case Of Allen Sorteberg:

Mr. Allen Sorteberg was present requesting preliminary plat approval of Sorteberg's 6th
Addition. The plat consists of 50 acres proposed to be platted into 19 single family rural
lots. The subject property is located north of County Road #63 and southeast of
Countryside Estates.

The Commission proceeded to review the City Engineer's report dated September 26,
1989.

Motion by Commissioner Deemer and seconded by Commissioner LaDue to recommend
City Council approval of the preliminary plat for Sorteberg's 6th Addition contingent upon
compliance with items contained in the City Engineer's report dated September 26, 1989.

Motion carried.
