I also work with the Juvenile Firestarters Program <br /> which involves counseling and education of children who start fires. <br /> <br />September 1984 - November 1985 <br /> Theater maintanence, Children's Theater, Minneapolis, MN. <br /> <br />1979 - 1983 <br /> Freelance artist, included freelance drawing and painting and I also <br /> designed the city seal for the city of Dayton, Tennessee. <br /> <br />1977 - 1978 <br /> Shipyard engineman, Jacksonville, Florida, repaired various shipboard <br /> equipment for shipyard contractors. <br /> <br />1974- 1977 <br /> US Navy, E-4 Engineman, duties included, operating and maintaining <br /> engineering related equipment, supervising personnel, ordering supplies, <br /> needed support activittes, and ftrefighting and damage control. <br /> <br />EDUCATION <br /> <br />May 1990 to the present <br /> I am currently taking Fire Officer and Fire Motor Operator courses <br /> required for promotion to Captain. <br /> <br />August 1989 <br /> Hazardous Materials Level III'~(Encapsulated suit) training completed, <br /> 210 hours. <br /> <br />August 1989 <br /> Completed 6000 hours of apprenticeship training and was promoted to <br /> the level of Journeyman Firefighter. <br /> <br />February 1989 <br /> National Fire Academy field course in Hazardous Materials Incident <br /> Analysis completed. <br /> <br />February 1989 <br /> Completed CPR Instructor Training, certificate awarded. <br /> <br />May 1986 <br /> NFPA Fireflghter I and II completed, 480 hours.
