CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, January 16, 1990 at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember Richard Cich <br />Councilmember Alan Pearson <br />Councilmember Stephen F. DeLuca <br />Councilmember Kenneth Peterson (arrived 7:00 p.m.) <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />Police Chief Michael Auspos (dismissed at 6:30 p.m.) <br />Personnel Coordinator Kay McAloney (dismissed at 6:30 p.m.) <br />Merland Otto/Hakanson Anderson Associates (arrived 7:00 p.m.) <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting to order at 5:35 p.m. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case #1: Interview Police Officer Candidates (Closed To The Public): <br /> <br />From 5:35 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., the City Council conducted interviews with the top two <br />candidates, Mark McDonough and William Nace, for the two police officer positions. <br /> <br />Council recessed at 6:30 p.m. <br /> <br />Mayor Reimann called the special City Council meeting back to order at 7:05 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to approve <br />the agenda as submitted. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
