Mayor Reimann informed him the City would be paying for 50% of the maintenance cost of roads, <br />etc., but the initial cost would be to the property owner. As far as the special assessments, it was <br />that way from the beginning of Ramsey. Whatever we have to do comes from the taxpayers. He <br />also stated that the people in Champlin and Brooklyn Park are actually paying for their <br />improvements but it's assessed right in with their property value taxes. <br /> <br />Ellen Stanley - asked if the water tower was in service. <br /> <br />The answer was yes. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember DeLuca and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to adjourn this <br />portion of the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
