Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, Pearson, DeLuca and <br />Peterson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #13: Address and Street Name Changes. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley stated that there are a number of street names and address numbers that are inaccurate <br />and City Staff intends to go about changing those in a systematic way to cause the least amount of <br />burden on the properties affected. A majority of these changes involve Woodland Green Addition, <br />changing 147th Circle N.W. to 146th Circle N.W., and changing Lithium Street N.W. to Neon <br />Street N.W. in Hall-Anderson Acres. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Peterson to schedule a public hearing <br />regarding proposed address changes for the City Council meeting on July 24, 1990 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mr. Hartley indicated that it is appropriate for Council to conduct a public <br />hearing to hear resident concerns prior to introducing ordinances for address changes but noted <br />that it is also Council's responsibility to not create a hazard that will cause problems because of the <br />numbering system. <br /> <br />Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmembers Cich, DeLuca, Pearson and Peterson. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />Case #14: Report from Personnel Committee. <br /> <br />A) Review performance appraisal of Police Chief Michael Auspos <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Pearson to table action on the <br />Personnel Committee's recommendation for an annual salary increase for Police Chief Michael <br />Auspos and to refer the matter back to the Personnel Committee for further review. <br /> <br />Further Discussion: Mayor Reimann indicated that he would like to be present at the Personnel <br />Committee meeting at which the proposed salary increase for Michael Auspos is reviewed. <br />Councilmember Pearson indicated that he would also like to be present at that meeting. Mr. <br />Hartley stated that he will schedule a special Council meeting to review the Personnel Committee's <br />recommendation for an annual salary increase for Police Chief Auspos. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Reimann, Councilmember Pearson, DeLuca and Peterson. <br />Voting No: Councilmember Cich. <br /> <br />B) Investigator Position <br /> <br />City Council noted that Police Chief Auspos and City Administrator David Hartley will be meeting <br />and conferring with the LELS Bargaining Unit as to the monthly clothing allowance for the <br />investigator position. <br /> <br />C) Performance Appraisal for Patrol Officer James Balabon <br /> <br />City Council noted a satisfactory annual performance appraisal for Patrol Officer James Balabon <br />had been completed by Police Chief Michael Auspos. <br /> <br />City Council / June 26, 1990 <br /> Page 9 of 21 <br /> <br /> <br />
