The yearly membership is $40.00. <br />Mr. Hartley also stated that this organization provides annual training for the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley made a motion to approve membership to the Fire Chiefs Association, seconded by <br />Mr. Spence. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mr. LaTour, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Hartley, Mr. Sich, Mr. Pearson. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Mr. Auspos, Mr. Spence. <br /> <br />Case #4: Discussion of Patch designed for Fire Department <br /> <br />Mr. Fjerstad passed around a patch that had been designed for the Fire Department. <br /> <br />Mr. Pearson inquired as to the cost per patch. <br /> <br />Mr. Fjerstad stated that the cost would be approximately $5.00/patch. <br /> <br />Mr. Bawden inquired as to how they will be used. <br /> <br />Mr. Fjerstad stated that the department was discussing ideas, but would like to see uniforms for <br />the members of the department, with the patch worn on the side of the sleeve. The patch would <br />also be on the sleeve of the jackets the firefighters currently have. <br /> <br />Mr. Pearson stated that there had been some discussion concerning uniforms at previous <br />meetings, and inquired as to the status. <br /> <br />Mr. Fjerstad stated that he had met with the Lions requesting a donation to be used for the <br />purchase of uniforms for the department. To date, he had not been notified of the decision from <br />the Lions. <br /> <br />Mr. Fjerstad stated that he would firm up cost per patch. <br /> <br />Mr. Hartley advised that two proposals be received. <br /> <br />Mr. Wilson made a motion to approve design of the patch, with the revision of changing the color <br />of lettering to silver, seconded by Mr. Sich. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mr. LaTour, Mr. Wilson, Mr. Hartley, Mr. Sich, Mr. Pearson. <br />Voting No: None.
