Fire Department quarters. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mr. Bawden, Mr. Cich, Mr. Hartley, Mr. LaTour, Mr. Pearson, Mr. Spence and Mr. Wilson. Voting No: None. Absent: None. Case #2 Pey Increment Proposal Chief Hoeke explained the pay increment and the plans adopted by other departments. Currently 4 hours equates to one five dollar pay increment for drills, meetings, training, and calls. The proposal is 0 to 2 hours is one increment, 2 to 3 hours is two increments, 3 to 4 hours is three increments, etc. Steve wilson explained the fire fighters stand and viewpoint supporting this decision. Motion by Mr. Richard Cich and seconded by Mr. Steve Wilson to table this issue for no more than one month during which time more research will be completed. Motion carried. Case #3 Phase In With Anoka Fire Chief Bruce Hoeke reviewed the phase in schedule to the Fire Department. Phase l July 1, 1989 Assistance in grass fires. Phasell July 1, 1990 Assistance in Phase III January 1, 1 Respond and grass, structure, and car fires. 991 be responsible for all types of fires. Motion by Mr. Alan Pearson and seconded by Mr. Jamie Spence to approve the Phase In with Anoka schedule Mr. Hoeke described above. Motion carried. Case #4 Phase In With Elk River Fire Chief Bruce Hoeke reviewed the phase in schedule for the Ramsey Fire Department with the Elk River Fire Department.
