The officer <br />or senior man will run the radio and maps. <br /> <br />Back up line will be used on all fires. <br /> <br />Any items removed from the trucks will be reported to the driver of said unit. <br /> <br />Drivers are responsible for all equipment on their unit. <br /> <br />On larger scale working fires, we should get mutual aid to stand by our station. <br /> <br />When calling mutual aid into our City, specify what manpower and what type of <br />equipment is needed. <br /> <br />All personnel will stay out of structures after the situation is under control unless <br />authorized to enter by the duty officer. <br /> <br />If a hydrant is used at the scene for tanking or for training, notify the City Water <br />Department--winter or summerl <br /> <br />Any and all injuries are to be reported to the duty officer as soon as possible and also <br />noted on the fire' report. <br /> <br />Drivers are to make sure that all items on vehicle checklist are checked at the end of the <br />run. <br /> <br />When responding to fire scene, use proper equipment for call and also proper radio <br />procedure. <br /> <br />Attack crews on fire scene will not exceed one (1) tank of air without a twenty (20) <br />minute break; crews will rotate out together. <br /> <br />When using drop tank, always use the five (5) inch hard suction. <br /> <br />Seat belts will be worn by all personnel driving and/or riding in any fire vehicle per <br />Policy 012 of the Fire Department. <br /> <br />While on fire scenes communicate through fire ground command or command post; do not <br />cross communicate. <br /> <br />Certain procedures listed may vary at officer's discretion. <br /> <br /> <br />
