CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a City Council Work Session on Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at <br />the Ramsey Municipal Center, 7550 Sunwood Drive NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br />Members Present: <br />Mayor Bob Ramsey <br />Councilmember Randy Backous (arrived at 6:23 p.m.) <br />Councilmember Colin McGlone <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br />Councilmember Jason Tossey (arrived at 6:23 p.m.) <br />Councilmember Jeffrey Wise <br />Member Absent: Councilmember David Elvig <br />Also Present: City Administrator Kurds Ulrich <br />City Engineer Tim Himmer <br />Finance Director Diana Lund <br />Parks Supervisor Mark Riverblood <br />Street Supervisor Grant Reimer <br />Environmental Coordinator Chris Anderson <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br />Mayor Ramsey called the City Council Work Session to order at 6:20 p.m. <br />2. TOPICS FOR DISCUSSION <br />2.01: Review 2012 Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) and Management <br />Report <br />Aaron Nielson, Malloy, Montague, Karnowski, Radosevich & Company, presented the <br />Management Report, a summarization of the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR). <br />Councilmembers Backous and Tossey arrived at 6:23 p.m. <br />Mayor Ramsey asked why the general government amount is so large when compared to other <br />cities but the public safety number is smaller. <br />Finance Officer Lund explained that general government includes TIF and governmental funds <br />beyond the General Fund. <br />City Council Work Session / June 12, 2012 <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
