1 ORDINANCE #12- <br />2 <br />3 <br />4 CITY OF RAMSEY <br />5 ANOKA COUNTY <br />6 STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />7 <br />8 <br />9 <br />10 AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />11 SUBDIVISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, <br />12 MINNESOTA. <br />13 <br />14 <br />15 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 117-111 THROUGH 117-113 <br />16 (RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS) OF CHAPTER 117 OF THE RAMSEY CITY <br />17 CODE. <br />18 <br />19 The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />20 <br />21 SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br />22 <br />23 This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />24 Ramsey. <br />25 <br />26 SECTON 2 AMENDMENTS <br />27 <br />28 City Code Sections 117-111 through 117-113 (R-1 Residential District, R-2 Residential District, <br />29 R-3 Residential District) are amended as follows (additions indicated as underline. deletions <br />30 indicated as strike through): <br />31 <br />32 <br />33 Sec. 117-111. R-1 Residential District. <br />34 <br />35 (a) Intent. The intent of the R-1 Residential District is to accommodate single-family <br />36 dwelling units on suitable land in the 2020 2030 Metropolitan Urban Service Area <br />37 (MUSA); and rural developing, central rural reserve area, and rural preserve areas <br />38 of the city. All newly created lots, except the remnant of a lot of record not less <br />39 than five acres in size and located within the 2020 2030 MUSA, shall be serviced <br />40 by sanitary sewer and municipal water. All developing lots located within the <br />41 rural preserve, rural developing and central rural preserve areas shall be served <br />42 with individual septic systems and wells. <br />43 <br />44 (4) Single-family/townhome units as part of a PUD located within the 2020 <br />45 2030 MUSA. PUDs shall be designed in accordance with R-2 residential <br />46 performance standards established in section 117-112. <br />47 <br />
