344 iii. Include a cony of the carpool program which identifies the <br />345 individuals narticinatina in the carpool nroaram. <br />346 4. Delineation of Carpool Parking Spaces: Carpool narking spaces <br />347 shall be identified by sign or marking on the pavement to specify_ <br />348 that the use of the spaces is reserved for the carpool nroaram. <br />349 5. The maximum automobile parking space reduction under this <br />350 provision shall be calculated at a ten percent (10 %) reduction in <br />351 overall parking required. <br />352 (d) Shared narking. Parking areas may be shared by uses on separate lots within 500 feet of <br />353 the entrance to the use it will serve provided that the following are met: <br />354 (1) Certain uses that have their highest peak demand for narking at substantially <br />355 different times of the day or week can consider a plan to provide required narking_ <br />356 by sharing narking with adiacent uses based on the following criteria: <br />357 a.Un to fifty percent (50%) of the narking facilities required for a theatre, <br />358 bowling alley, dance hall, bar, or restaurant may be supplied by the off- <br />359 street narking facilities provided by types of uses specified as a primarily_ <br />360 daytime use in subnaraaraph d. below. <br />361 b.Un to fifty percent (50%) of the off-street narking facilities required for <br />362 any use specified under subparagraph d. below as primary daytime uses <br />363 may be supplied by the parking facilities provided by the following <br />364 nighttime or Sunday uses: Auditoriums incidental to a public or parochial <br />365 school, places of assembly , bowling alleys, dance halls, theatres, bars, or <br />366 restaurants. <br />367 c.Uo to fifty percent (50%) of the parking facilities required by <br />368 subparagraph b. above for a place of public assembly or for an auditorium <br />369 incidental to a public or parochial school may be supplied by off-street <br />370 parking facilities provided by uses specified under subparagraph d. below <br />371 as primarily daytime uses. <br />372 d.For the purpose of this section, the following uses are considered as <br />373 primarily daytime uses: Banks, business offices, retail stores/shopping <br />374 centers, personal service shops, household equipment or furniture shops, <br />375 clothing or shoe repair or service shops, manufacturing, wholesale, and <br />376 similar uses. <br />377 (2) The parking area must have a pedestrian connection, which includes a trail or <br />378 walkway, paved with a continuous impervious surface that connects to all users of <br />379 the shared parking. <br />380 (3) The parking plan for the area must demonstrate that all other applicable <br />381 ordinances can be met. <br />382 (4) Any adiacent properties with approved shared narking agreements must have <br />383 vehicle access between them. <br />
