344 iii. Include a cony of the carpool program which identifies the 345 individuals narticinatina in the carpool nroaram. 346 4. Delineation of Carpool Parking Spaces: Carpool narking spaces 347 shall be identified by sign or marking on the pavement to specify_ 348 that the use of the spaces is reserved for the carpool nroaram. 349 5. The maximum automobile parking space reduction under this 350 provision shall be calculated at a ten percent (10 %) reduction in 351 overall parking required. 352 (d) Shared narking. Parking areas may be shared by uses on separate lots within 500 feet of 353 the entrance to the use it will serve provided that the following are met: 354 (1) Certain uses that have their highest peak demand for narking at substantially 355 different times of the day or week can consider a plan to provide required narking_ 356 by sharing narking with adiacent uses based on the following criteria: 357 a.Un to fifty percent (50%) of the narking facilities required for a theatre, 358 bowling alley, dance hall, bar, or restaurant may be supplied by the off- 359 street narking facilities provided by types of uses specified as a primarily_ 360 daytime use in subnaraaraph d. below. 361 b.Un to fifty percent (50%) of the off-street narking facilities required for 362 any use specified under subparagraph d. below as primary daytime uses 363 may be supplied by the parking facilities provided by the following 364 nighttime or Sunday uses: Auditoriums incidental to a public or parochial 365 school, places of assembly , bowling alleys, dance halls, theatres, bars, or 366 restaurants. 367 c.Uo to fifty percent (50%) of the parking facilities required by 368 subparagraph b. above for a place of public assembly or for an auditorium 369 incidental to a public or parochial school may be supplied by off-street 370 parking facilities provided by uses specified under subparagraph d. below 371 as primarily daytime uses. 372 d.For the purpose of this section, the following uses are considered as 373 primarily daytime uses: Banks, business offices, retail stores/shopping 374 centers, personal service shops, household equipment or furniture shops, 375 clothing or shoe repair or service shops, manufacturing, wholesale, and 376 similar uses. 377 (2) The parking area must have a pedestrian connection, which includes a trail or 378 walkway, paved with a continuous impervious surface that connects to all users of 379 the shared parking. 380 (3) The parking plan for the area must demonstrate that all other applicable 381 ordinances can be met. 382 (4) Any adiacent properties with approved shared narking agreements must have 383 vehicle access between them.
