304 vi. Located to provide safe access from the spaces to the right <br />305 of way or bicycle lane: <br />306 vii. Parking areas including thirty (30) spaces or more, <br />313 shall include twenty-five percent (25%) of total spaces required, stripped <br />314 and sinned as compact stalls. <br />315 c.Motorcycle/scooter parking. Two (2) motorcycle/scooter narking spaces <br />316 may be provided in lieu of one reauired automobile narking space. The <br />317 maximum automobile parking space reduction under this provision shall <br />318 be calculated at a 1:30 ratio (For every 30 reauired automobile narking <br />319 spaces, one automobile space may be waived). Parking areas under thirty_ <br />320 (30) spaces may reduce the parking reauirement by a maximum of one <br />321 automobile narking space. Motorcycle narking must be properly labeled <br />322 with signs and surfaced with concrete. The minimum stall size for one <br />323 motorcycle shall be four feet in width by seven feet in depth (4' x 7'). <br />324 d.Car Pool Parking Incentives: The following regulations are intended to <br />325 encourage the use of carpooling to increase vehicle occupancy and reduce <br />326 traffic volumes and congestion: <br />327 1. Applicability: The regulations of this subsection shall apply to all <br />328 nonresidential buildings or uses constructed after adoption of this <br />329 section that employ 100 or more people. <br />330 2. Reserved Parking Spaces: Uses that encourage a carpool nroaram <br />331 among employers are allowed to designate reauired parking as <br />332 reserved carpool narking. No more than ten percent (10%) of the <br />333 total number of employee parking spaces for vehicles participating_ <br />334 in a carpool program can be designated. Carpool parking spaces <br />335 shall be located to provide superior convenience. <br />336 3. Submission of Carpool Parking Plan: Each use meeting the <br />337 obiectives of this subsection shall submit a plan of the employee <br />338 parking spaces reserved for carpooling to the development review <br />339 team for review and approval. The plan shall: <br />340 i. Specify the total number of employee parking spaces <br />341 provided: <br />342 ii. Indicate the number and location of parking spaces <br />343 reserved for carpooling: and <br />
