465 time limit specified in the permit which in no event shall exceed more <br />466 than 12 months from the date of issuance. The permittee shall notify <br />467 the zoning administrator at least 24 hours prior to the commencement <br />468 of work. <br />469 b. Should the work not be commenced as specified herein. then the <br />470 permit shall become void. However. if prior to the date established for <br />471 commencement of work the permittee makes written request to the <br />472 zoning administrator for an extension of time to commence the work. <br />473 setting forth the reasons for the required extension of not areater than <br />474 one single year, then the permit shall remain in force. <br />475 c. Any revision of the originally approved site plan must be approved by <br />476 the council after findinas by the planning commission and zonina <br />477 administrator. <br />478 d. A permit may be approved subiect to compliance with conditions that <br />479 are specifically set forth in the permit and are necessary to ensure <br />480 compliance with the requirements contained in this subdivision. Such <br />481 conditions may. among other matters. limit the size. kind or character <br />482 of the proposed development. reauire the construction of other <br />483 structures including special foundations and soil stabilization <br />484 structures. establish reauired monitoring procedures. reauire such <br />485 alterations of the site as may be necessary. reauire execution of an <br />486 aareement between the city and the developer. reauire a surety in the <br />487 form of a performance bond. cash escrow or letter of credit in an <br />488 amount of 150 percent of the expected development costs as <br />489 determined by the city engineer. Accompanying such aareement shall <br />490 be a statement from the owner indicating the citv's right of entry to the <br />491 property if it becomes necessary to complete the agreed upon work. <br />492 (8) Fees. A schedule of fees for the examination and approval of site plans <br />493 leading to an environmental permit and the inspection of all required <br />494 improvements and conditions in such plans shall be determined by <br />495 ordinance. Prior to approval of any site plan. such fees shall be paid to the <br />496 zoning administrator and be deposited to the credit of the general fund. <br />497 (9) Effect of permit. The arantina of an environmental permit under the <br />498 provisions of this subdivision shall in no way affect the owner's or the <br />499 permittee's responsibility to obtain the approval required by any other statute. <br />500 ordinance or regulation of any federal or state agency or subdivision thereof. <br />501 (Code 1978. 6 9.21.05: Ord.
