Mr. Hartley stated that Legislature is reviewing budget cuts which will affect <br />local government aid; Ramse~ would lose more than other communities because of <br />the already existing disparity. Mr. Hartley presented a proposed resolution <br />stating Ramsey's opposition to budget cuts that further deepen disparities in <br />Ramsey's local government aid in comparison to other cities. ~he resolution <br />does not state that Ramsey opposes local government aids. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Schlueter to <br />adopt Resolution #8641 concerning public policy relating to State budget cuts <br />affect local government aid. (Please refer to resolution file for Resolution <br />#86-5 Z ). <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Heitman, Councilm~bers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Reimann and Schlueter. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Cox to adjourn <br />the special Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
