Mayor Heitman called the special meeting back to order at 10:31 p.m.

~ Proposed Utility Extension To The City's Industrial Area:

Mr. Hartley stated that the City Charter requires a 60 day waiting period after
the public hearing before Council can take action on an improvement of this
nature. Mr. Hartley stated that he will make available to anyone a copy of the
Charter provision outlining the petitioning process, proposed improvement
related studies and financing options.

Tom Rennet - Inquired as to what would happen if bids for the improvements come
in above what was estimated.

Mayor Heitman stated that the City Charter requires reconsideration of a
project if bids received exceed estimated costs by more than 10%.

Councilmember Cox noted that Ramsey always had this provision to reconsider
because it is State law and not something created by the City Charter.

MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT

Councilmember Reimann stated that the Tree Sale and Pet Clinic conducted on
April 26 was a huge success.

Councilmember Cox noted that Councilmember Reimann has been in charge of the
annual tree sale for 15 years and deserves some credit for his efforts.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion by Councilmember Cox and seconded by Mayor Heitman to adjourn the
special Council meeting.

Motion carried.
