PROCEEDINGS OF CITY COUNCIL <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a special meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 1986 <br />at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Gary Heitman <br />Councilmember Gary Reimann <br />Councilmember A1 Sorteberg <br />Councilmember Arnie Cox <br />Councilmember Jean Schlueter <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator David Hartley <br />Community Development Director Anne Norris <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />City Engineer Peter Raatikka <br />Finance Officer Noel Graczyk <br />Reporter Kathy Cassidy <br /> <br />~LL T0 .ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman called the special Council meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and led <br />in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />~ITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox suggested that any citizens wishing to have input on any <br />subject, on or off the agenda, do so at this time as citizen input during <br />case discussions is slowing up the meeting process. <br /> <br />A1 Pearson - 14821 Bowers Drive - Stated that he has a lot of snowmobile and <br />motorcycle traffic by his property; concerned that while he is operating farm <br />equipment, he will collide with children on recreational vehicles and injure <br />them; what are City rules regarding these types of vehicles? <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox directed Mr. Hartley to discuss Mr. Pearson's concerns <br />regardring children and their recreational vehicles with the Police Department. <br /> <br />Lola Waller - 7350 155th - Stated that she understands storm sewers will be <br />installed in her district and inquired if a letter was supposed to have been <br />sent to all affected properties; if so, she didn't receive her letter. <br /> <br />Mayor Heitman replied that letters of notification are sent when there is a <br />project proposed; the hearing on April 22, 1986 was in regards to financing <br />storm sewers should there be storm sewer improvements. <br /> <br />Mr. Goodrich stated that no storm sewer project has been proposed and no <br />letters were sent to any persons regarding the April 22 public hearing. <br /> April 29, 1986 <br /> <br /> <br />
